Context
As2 Fleurs is an independent florist who, until then, took every order by phone and over social media, with no dedicated online storefront.
Problem
Without an online store, every order meant a manual back-and-forth to build the bouquet, check availability, and take payment — friction for customers in a hurry, and a heavy admin load for the florist.
Approach
Built a bespoke e-commerce site with Next.js and TypeScript, centered on a bouquet configurator that mirrors the choices customers used to make by phone (size, flowers, colors, message), paired with Stripe for payment and a recurring flower subscription.
Solution
The result is a self-serve site: one-off orders or subscriptions, a bouquet configurator in a few clicks, and a full admin backoffice where the florist manages products, orders, and delivery without any developer involvement.
Results
- Live in production, used daily to take orders.
- Full ownership of the catalog and orders for the client, with no developer dependency.
- Secure online payment and a recurring subscription live from day one.
Learnings
This project confirmed the value of designing the backoffice alongside the public site rather than as an afterthought: the florist was managing her own orders from day one, with no heavy training or ongoing support.
